Mercedes, BMW, Pioneer i Garmin će koristiti Nokia mape

  • I find the position of the proximity and ambient light sensor rather peculiar. It is set just under the ear piece, but then again, the internals have been designed differently to loose the antenna strips so that could be the cause.

Recent update:nokia 9 coming next month

    • Muerte

Where does this update origin from?

  • I think the phone will be launched this week. 🙂

  • I like the overall design of this phone and the way it looks from Top and Bottom due to huge bezel. But that adds to its beauty. Even my 1320 has huge top and bottom bezel and i like it. 🙂
Also the icons of network and wifi are different if compared to the press images of Nokia 5. 🙂 UI modifications?

  • I hope we see a Nokia 9 too 😀

can you tell me what were the manufacturing issues in Nokia 3,5 and 6 Please!!!

    • They refuse to comment on that officially, but the devices are late on the market. We wrote about it here

      • Deep Shekhar

        Thank you so much!
So…do you think will it stand straight against the stiff competition from S8, note 8 and IPhone 8?

        • In terms of sales, don’t think so, because S8, Note 8 and iP8 will have (already do) edge to edge displays and that’s a wow factor that sells, but the 8 will overall be well received because of ZEISS, Pure Android and people love Nokia. If the 9 is bezel-less, it could outmatch the competition, but hardly any smartphone can beat the next Note or the next iPhone in terms of sales. In terms of features, yes, especially with ZEISS 🙂

but HMD global don’t have those engineers behind pureView and designers behind those pillow design of Nokia n9….

            but yeah !you’re right

          • That’s not completely true. Most HMD employees worked at Nokia, and Nokia never sold the core design team to Microsoft. They were transferred to Nokia Technologies before sales of D&S Business.

          • Deep Shekhar

But the pureview heads are in apple and Nokia ozo team….hmd have none of them. Also the design head Mr. Marko Ahtisaari is out of Nokia ….so can’t really see something great from Nokia….I really want Nokia to dominate and lead the industry but these things make me sad

          • The Heads went away, but other members of the team are at HMD. Of course not all of them, because Nokia employed 30.000 people in D&S, but some are.

  • Did you notice no antenna lines? Just like on the 5, only little plastic on top and bottom. Great engineering. For some maybe too much bezel, but if other things are top, I don’t mind. 🙂

It looks just like a 5. Are they reusing the shell ?

      • Good question… Maybe the base construction is the same… Need to compare in detail

        • I think this is the reason they delayed Nokia 5 availability.

        • Muerte

This has got to be one reason. Otherwise I don’t get it – why would HMD recycle Nokia 5’s design for a flagship device, if it is not for the cost reduction in order to create an “affordable flagship”?

    • I have doubts on this image. I’ll try to prove this an edited Nokia 5 and not a real Nokia 8.
Look at the gap between the secondary microphone above camera and compare it to this images. 🙂×561.jpg

      • It’s not edited 5. Take a look at the earpiece. Do you see the sensors below? On 5 the sensors are on the left side of the earpiece.

        • Yeah saw. This image has it just below the earpiece. 🙂

    • I have no issues with the bezels.. Never had any actually.

  • NICE!
